You know how Awesome the Best Little Parade in Texas is every year in Wimberley? Now you can be part of it!
We’re looking for up to 80 volunteers to carry flags with the VFW as part of the lead group in the parade. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals, families, and friends to proudly celebrate America together while experiencing the excitement of the parade from the inside.

Date: Friday July 3rd, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM Note: Roads close at 9:30 AM – please arrive on time!
Location: Mima’s Tacos (next to Lions Field)
What to Wear: Patriotic/4th of July attire and comfortable walking shoes. The route is approximately 2 miles.
Flag Drop Off: Flags will be collected near the FM 3237 & RR 12 intersection at the end of the route.
The VFW Flag Corps will be the 3rd group in the parade, so you’ll finish early and can watch the rest of the event.

Wimberley Market Day is the 2nd largest trade day in Texas and a hill country Tradition n for over 55 years. We welcome volunteers 15 Years and older ( Under 15 can work with a parent in limited positions).
